Not accustomed to the heavens, ogling underskies,
Sniffing at this strange world, with no understanding.
In the mud puddle bathes its ugly pockmarked flesh,
with nutricious venoms infatuated blindly,
It's sucking blossoms' blood, all crawly and tentackly
It is smudging filthy droplets all around the earth.
A creature that mustn't survive too long on this realm,
for it devours and poisons all with its reek,
And yet, as you caress it with your alabaster hand,
It purrs peacefully and humbly right next to your feet.
