The True Religion

If God is one, how come there are so many
different religions on Earth?
How come everybody believes his own to be the true one,
and somebody believes them all to be false?
 
People worshipping the Sun, people worshipping plants,
people deeming the Mosaical law to be the most sincere,
people siding with Christianity,1
and people thinking that Islam stands firm.
 
There are people believing in Calvin, people believing in Luther,
people siding with Ali, and Omar devotees,2
and in the mean time we don’t know who’s speaking the truth.
 
What I do know - and I know it’s not a blunder,
because the whole world agrees on that -
I know that I abide in God when I fuck.
