Boromir

From Rohan, he runs through the swamp, across the wetlands covered in grass -
the western wind runs up to the city walls singing its tearful melody.
'- What do you say, wandering wind, what have you brought from your journey?
Have you seen Boromir walking proudly in the shine of the stars?'
'- Yes, I've seen him, walking through seven springs, seven rivers, walking alone through the wasteland. And then he departed
to the long shades of the North, and I have not seen him since.
Maybe the northern wind seen him, when he blew his horn.'

'- Boromir! I looked from the high walls to the western reaches,
but you never came back from the deserted lands'

From the sea, the southern wind leaps through the sand and rocks,
bringing the shriek of the seagulls to the city gates.
'- What are you bringing in the evening from the south, weeping wind?
Where is my fair Boromir? I keep waiting for him.'
'- Do not ask me where he stays - oh how many bones lie there,
on the white shores, over the dark shores, stormy clouds move on,
how many of them flew over Anduin, looking for sea.
Northern wind, you should rather ask for the ones he sent.'

'- Boromir! Behind the gates, there is a way going south to the sea,
but you have not arrived from the grey plane, that sounds with the cry of the seagulls.'

From the Gates of the Kings, the northern wind went over the waterfalls,
and he blew coldly on the edge of the tower like on a horn, so everybody would hear.
'- What are you bringing from the north today, mighty wind?'
'- Under the Amon Hen I heard his scream, as he was clashing with the enemy.
A dented shield, and broken sword they brought to the river afterwards.
They lay that proud head on the ground, so he looked like he is in a calm dream,
and Rauros the golden waterfall, then covered him with his shoulder.'

'- Boromir! The sentry tower always keeps watch to the North,
where Rauros, the golden waterfall, keeps his eternal song.'

Missing

I'll search for you every day to the source
like a salmon that swims upstream
and, defying the arrows, the bears, and the fishermen
arrives at the season of love.

I'll search for you in the eyes of the last friend,
I'll listen to the tolling of an ancient heart.
I'll search on the body of a lonely woman
the last “I love you” lost in her throat.

Dear missing love,
where have you gone, where have you ended up?
Dear missing love,
they threw you away like a dress.

They no longer want you, they no longer search for you,
you haven’t seen “love”,
I asked an old poet
but they had broken his pencil.

I'll search for you among the desks of an old schoolhouse
where in your book I left you a pansy.
I'll search in a song of revolution
another feeling and a song.

I'll search for you every day to the source
like a salmon swimming upstream,
a little hero at the risk of dying,
you give life to the sea for love.

Dear missing love,
where have you gone, where have you ended up?
Dear missing love,
they threw you away like a dress.

And they no longer want you, they no longer search for you,
you haven't seen 'love',
I asked an old poet
but they had broken his pencil.

Dear missing love.

~~~~~
Dear missing love.
Heavenly serenade
Go
Heavenly serenade
Heavenly like the eyes of a woman
Who resembles so much a Madonna
Go
You who have known everything
Calm the heart that hasn't forgotten
The golden dreams that it hasn't dreamed
It hurts so much
The melancholy
Since my love
Is no longer mine
Go
Heavenly serenade
You who know how much I suffer and how sad I am
Just tell her about the tears it costs us
Heavenly serenade
And nothing more
To hear softly again:
“Good evening”
The taste of your kisses
To dream again
To give a little more peace
To this heart
To hear softly again:
“Good evening”
It hurts so much
The melancholy
Since my love
Is no longer mine
Go
Heavenly serenade
You who know how much I suffer and how sad I am
Just tell her about the tears it costs us
Heavenly serenade
And nothing more
