The Maiden and the Wind
The wind softly whisperedAnd caressed the arms of the orchard
A maiden in a white handkerchief
Spoke her heart out onto the garden
She told of waves and skies
That kiss one another out in the open
And of a laughing sun in the water
Prancing around with her golden rays
And again the wind hummed joyfully
And pampered the sleeping buds
Thus it glided between a leaf and an apple
As the twilight settled upon the orchard
The moon rose in the meantime
And smiled at the redness of the sun
And it wrapped the entire skies
And with a silver glow it floated
The maiden also told of a boy
And thought she might've heard his footsteps
Quickly she skipped from furrow to furrow
But it was just the naughty wind
But it was just the naughty wind
But it was just the naughty wind
But it was just the naughty wind
