as had Gerineldo
being well loved by the king!
One morning in June
Gerineldo got up
to give water to his horses
by the seashore.
While the horses were drinking
Gerineldo began to sing,
and the princess who heard him
instantly began to call out:

my loyal servant,

the lady would be lucky
