On the advantages of being silly

The silly person, by not being occupied with ambitions, has time to see, to hear to touch in the world.
The silly person is capable of remaining seated for two hours hardly moving.
If asked why they don't do something, they respond: 'I am doing, I am thinking.'
Being a silly person sometimes offers an escape world because the clever people only remember to escape through means of their cleverness, and the silly person has originality, ideas spontaneously come to them.
The silly person has the opportunity to see things that the clever people don't see. The clever people are always so attentive to the other acts of cleverness that they relax in front of the silly people, and these people see them as simple human beings.
The silly person gains utility and wisdom to live. The silly person seems to never have had a turn. However, many times, the silly person is a Dostoievski.
There are disadvantages too, obviously. A silly woman, for example, trusted in the word of an unknown man to by a second-hand air conditioner: he said that the contraption was new, practically unused because he was moving to Gavea where it was chillier. Then goes the silly woman and buys the appliance without even seeing it. Result: it doesn't work. She calls a repairman, whose opinion was that the apparatus was so mangled that the fix would be really expensive: it makes more sense just to buy another one. But, on the other hand, the advantage of being a silly person is having good faith, to never lose trust, and thus to be calm. Meanwhile the clever person doesn't sleep at night with fear of being conned.
The clever person triumphs with an ulcer in their stomach. The silly person doesn't perceive that this clever person won. Caution: don't confuse silly people with stupid people.
Disadvantage: they can receive a stab in the back from whom they least suspect.
It is one of the many sorrows that the silly person cannot predict. Caesar finished saying the famous phrase: 'Et tu, Brute?'
The silly person doesn't protest. In compensation, how they exclaim!
The silly people, with all of their clownery, should all be in heaven.
If Christ had been clever he wouldn't have died on the cross.
The silly person is always so sympathetic that there are clever people who pretend to be silly people. The clever people win from other people. In compensation, the silly people win life.

Blessed are the silly people because they know without anyone distrusting them. Moreover, it doesn't matter to them if others know what they know.
There are places that facilitate more the existence of silly people (don't confuse the silly person with the stupid person, with the fool, or with the frivolous person). Minas Gerais, for example, facilitates the existence of silly people. Ah, how many lose by not being born in Minas Gerais! The silly person is Chagall, who puts the cow in space, flying atop the houses. It's nearly impossibly to avoid the excess of love that the silly person provokes. It's that only the silly person is capable of excess love. And only love makes up the silly person.

But there is life

But there is life
that is to be
lived intensely, there is love.

That must be lived
Until the very last drop.
Without any fear.
It doesn't kill.
