The call of the mountains
Against the waves, with our swords in hand
against the sea, our backs against the wall
against the indigence, in the sight of our enemy
against the storms**, that strikes our faces.
A calling went through the clouds,
a sign, from the cranes in flight.
The call of the mountains,
the call of the Alps,
the call of our homeland,
the song in our hearts,
the song of the mountains.
What is that **, that's deep in our hearts?
and the question, that awakens the world?
what's that **, that *** from heaven?
and that ** that sound that comes from the harp?
a cry rang through the winds, a warning, the call of the cranes.
The call of the mountains,
the call of the Alps,
the call of our homeland,
the song in our hearts,
the song of the mountains.
The sound of the wind, a burning sensation.
The call of the mountains,
the call of the Alps,
the call of our homeland,
the song in our hearts,
the song of the mountains
the call of the Alps,
the call of our homeland,
the song in our hearts,
the song of the mountains.
