In the deep, quiet tranquility of the forest,where armies of singers live,
where the soul listened many a time
to the happy song of the bird.
There is idyllic quiet peace
in the loneliness of the forest,
and the longings of the heart are silent here,
where peace and rest are.
Hear the village bell sounds,
announcing evening peace.
The little bird before it takes a nap,
still twitters for a while.
In the marsh, a frog is croaking loudly,
heavily field and lake are steaming,
now the clock quietens, - the evening's peace
quietly lowers down.
