Cherry blossoms, dancing in the moonlight
The voice that anxiously waits for the spring quietly resounds in the darknessThe song of the passing seasons slowly starts to awaken
On the water illuminated by the moonlight lightly float the cherry blossoms
With a faint smile I excitedly reach my hand to the crimson scenery
As the spring wind blows through the west the rustling breeze carries my feelings and I offer my prayers to the distant sky
As the flower buds unravel, beautifully fluttering, flower petals swoop down and dance clad in the moonlight
Wearing a fancy kimono, I watch the glimmer of impermanent worldly things as the third lunar month is enveloped in a pink scenery that begins to overflow
Dancing in this fleeting reddening world
I suddenly let out a sigh and dye my concealed anxiety
As I gracefully fold the sleeves of my garments
Now blooming to their fullest, the cherry blossoms light up the night
'Is it a dream or reality' I faintly whisper, being entranced by the flowers
Hearing the silent voice regretting the time's passage, I rest my eyes on the view and bid it farewell as the season changes again
The dancing storm of falling cherry blossoms under the moonlight are like a flickering illusion
Glamorously fluttering, continuing to dye this transient world
The flowers in the wind accept the sadness that they will obscurely wear out and through the tears I see a hazy moon dyed in a tender pink
They keep blooming and falling, unable to escape their fate
Inviting me into a dream, beautifully fluttering the flower petals swoop down into disorder clad in the moonlight
Wearing a fancy kimono, I watch the short lived things burn up as the third lunar month is enveloped in a pink scenery that begins to overflow
Dancing in this fleeting reddening world
