Riches of the World
Great are the riches of the worldEven today
And our Earth remains
Our star
Even if mankind reaches today
For other stars
The Earth remains the one star
Where everything grows and ripens
Will the riches of the world
Still be there tomorrow
Or is much of it
Already gone?
The air that lets us live
Covers the globe
Shall it be poisoned
For all that come after us?
Will the riches of the world
Still be there tomorrow
Or is much of it
Already gone?
The land and also the oceans
Cannot defend themselves
Their treasures shall belong
To the ones after us as they belonged to us
Do the riches of the world
Already belong to everyone
Or isn't much
Being denied to many?
