horse, mouse, bunting,
crows, caws, barks, squeals,
neighs, chirps, sings.
 
Certainly you're worthy of
a poem, old Jarpur1.
Never has passed away
a more valiant champion.
 
Then there was hay, then there was shelter,
then there was merriment and happiness.
Then there was youth, then there was sun,
Then everything was pleasant.
 
Give young riding horses
a green bite in the mornings.
They'll reward with their light-footed
agile, strong legs.
