On a night when the sky had a stronger glow
And in which sleep seemed not willing to come
I went to lie on the beach alone in the open
And away from the time I ended up sleeping
 
Woke up with the soft touch of a kiss
And a freckled face filled my gaze
Still half dreaming I asked her who she was
She laughed and said quietly: starfish
 
I'm the starfish
Only he obeyed, only he knows me
Only he knows who I am in the beginning and the end
Only to him I am faithful and it is he who protects me
When someone wants to force
To be master of me
 
I do not know if the desire or the greater was
but I know that for a moment I stopped thinking
An invisible flame burned my chest
Anything impossible made me believe
 
In silence we exchanged secrets and hugs We
entered in the spice a new alphabet A
thousand years have passed on our meeting
But a thousand years are little or nothing for the starfish
