The Sea of Galilee

Versions: #1
The roots get stronger when it's windy
The air get fresher when thunder is roaring
It blows on the Sea of Galilee
And on Gallery Bleue as well

Your kisses taste of strawberries and milk
The dream shall burn about another life
Let your heart beat an extra beat
Let us hope that it will be day soon

My memories are like gooseberries in punsch
And fire floods in my inner world
Let me cry, let me be
And burn my books as firewood

I look forward, I look upward, I'm warm
The past looms like an overture
Our lives become harmony at last
With the world we live in

Can I see, let me feel, can I believe
Do i have the courage to disappear in a minute of silence
I see lighthouses blink from my balcony
Think of me sometime

We are many here at the vernissage
And we drink some port wine and chew on crackers
It blows on the Sea of Galilee
And on Gallery Bleue as well

It's nice that so many people wanted to come
The dream shall burn about another life
We show some paintings in blue
But the artist seems to already have left

On the surface am I a whitewashed grave
Underneath, I am full of dead bones
It blows on the Sea of Galilee
And on Gallery Bleue as well

Can you remember our summer in Palalda?
The way we painted with oil and laughed so good
I can hear the thunder rumble in the sky
And the wind blows so I barely can stand

I will make some final calculations
And study the process in an experiment
If the changes supports the theory
Then water can turn into wine

I found some paper in a grave
They are forgotten remains from a past culture
I want to decipher these old fragments
As if nothing important has happened

Say, how many seconds do I have
Before the fog keeps me from getting away?
Could it possibly be so
That it's already too late to go

I have packed my personal things
I have written a letter to whom it may concern
I will do what I can and a bit more
And then it can go however it pleases

I walk down between the sphinxes forelegs
To meet the fate which was tailored
The queen of Egypt is waiting in her dressing room
And she fiddles with a silver brooch

I will still all the storms in my soul
Only swells shall swing in its own sweet way
My mind's hurricanes shall die
Beautiful weather on the Sea of Galilee
