Mannequin House

My memory is really bad — I forgot everything, it's sad.
Expecting guests every day but looks like they lost their way.
In my house, I see only them —
Mannequins,
Time stands still as they stand still.
 
Can't get why mannequins are surrounding me —
I'm still in the dark, and no one outside.
Do I live in a ghost town where people died out?
And why every wayfarer avoids my poor house?
 
Who I was, what I've become...
The answer doesn't want to come.
What's behind the mist in my soul?
Loneliness is my enemy and role.
They are here for a reason…

I hear my voice from the dark.

I lose all sense of time in creative flow,
I often have a dream where mannequins are alive
And created by me, but I don't believe.
 
Mannequins are laughing, dancing, feel sad,
Why the old house turned into a museum?
Even though they all are so kind and good,
They can't replace real human friends.
