they are both on their knees
at the altar they bow
each one ready to try
each hand holding a knife
after my life has gone
i have one small request
please visit me, my dear
at the place where i rest
and if you hear the sounds
of the misery and woe
they're reminders to you
of the day of our vow
next time you hear the
sound of church bells ringing
come inside the old church
even just to visit
