I Dreamed A Dream (Hebrew Version)

There were better days
Where people spoke softly
In words of grace
There were days of love
In a world that was woven
With songs of magic
There were days, but it's all over...

I dreamed a dream long ago
The hope of my life like a shining light
I dreamed of an endless love
I dreamed that God would be forgiving

I was very young then
With dreams made out of thin air
A world washed by pink light
I sang a song, I sipped some wine

But there are tigers at night
The roll of thunder in their voices
And they tear apart
Dreams made of golden string

He slept a summer by my side
And my days were tasteful
And he plucked my childhood
And disappeared when autumn came

But someday
I dreamed, we'll be together again
But dreams do not come true
And the heart also surrenders to the fear

I dreamed a dream about a life
So different from all this suffering
A different life called my name
My life has murdered...
My dream

I dreamed while it lasted

Once upon a time, when all was easy
There were kind men
Where were gentle voices
A loving word was always right
The world was like a song
Like a song that no one forgets
Now it's gone
What was once upon a time

I dreamed while it lasted
Of roads nothing could block
Of an eternal love
Of a gentle and good lord

When i was young and full of courage
And no dream was dreamt for nothing
I knew nothing about the ransom
There since bitterly would be demanded

But in the night silent deep
The tiger comes and eats
And they tear apart your hope
So your happiness perish

One summer he was here so shortly
He filled the days with joys
He took my childhood away with him
When he disapeared and got free

I still dream about his mouth
About the life we will live together
But the dreams' ship has crashed on land
And broken by storms and the shame

My life in the dreams' short moment
Is free from reality's hell
A heavenly light, an extinguished spark
My life has killed my dream, at last
