A date with Odessa
We sailed for a long time,To get here, we long steered,
Sorrows swayed us,
Waves rocked and christened us,
But all those alien harbors,
And foreign cities,
They didn’t leave a mark on the heart.
Let me stay together with Odessa,
I have so much to tell her.

Again, I walk the famous steps,
Leaving the escalator to others,
And the entire boulevard, as one large bouquet,
