Nothing But My Will
Neither the cruelty nor reproval done by this solitude
Who cares, the wall imsurpassable is mine
Even if the meretricious ships aboard afar
Guess the land it passes through is mine
Got injury, no animal can cure
Got burdens, no shops can measure
What of it, the shadow haven't been on path yet
Thus it sends, to the god, tis all mine

Resist, ye, my heart!
They got you wounded, haven't they
All of your sides got blistered
No science can take care of this
Mind is torn sack, unrovelled lace
You are the target of the arrows coming from above
A frame tamboured with fire
Don't rebel at dust and ashes
Resist, ye, my heart, for another breath!

Benim efendim
My lord I'm tied to you
my weir came down
with one blow of yours
I was sea
Mountain top was my weir
Now you're my advice to the world
I learnt from you what to not die is
I got lost and exhausted in you
I asked the mirror where I, myself, am
My lord I'm tied to you
My lord, I was loaded with the decree
I was cauterized and sealed in the heart
I became your soldier
I got my turban on head
My arrow is in the quiver
My lasso is in hand
I learnt from you what to not die is
I got lost and exhausted in you
I asked the mirror where I, myself, am
My lord I'm tied to you

Sidewalks
I
I'm in the street, in a street all lonely
Walking, walking and never looking back
At the point my path is mingled with the black
I seem to see a phantom wait for me
Ashen clouds overcast the darkling sky
Lightening bolts seek the chimneys of homes
In this midnight only two who sleepless roam
I here am one and there the sidewalks lie
Drop by drop a terror collects in me
At the head of every street the demons wait
The houses fix their gaze, dark black and great,
On me, like blindmen with their eyes ripped free
The sidewalks, mother to the suffering
Sidewalks, the person who has lived in me
Sidewalks, sound heard when all sounds cease to be
Sidewalks, a language within me lingering
I'll not give up life in a soft embrace
I am the child nursed at this sidewalk's breast
Please let no morning on this dark street rest
On this dark street let me ever run my race
Let me go on and the road, let us not stay
Let the lamps flow past me like a flood
Let hungry dogs hear the click-clack of my tread
Let there be an arch, vaulted in gloom, on my way
Let the daytimes be yours, give me darknesses
Let me not walk in light nor to eyes appear
As in a damp quilt let me wrap myself here
Cover me, cover me in their cool darknesses
If my body, full-length on these stones could lie
If these cold stones would draw the fever from my brow
Like these streets plunging into uncanny drowse
If only the sidewalks' melancholy mate would die

Waiting
The sick cannot not wait for morning
The grave cannot wait for the dead
The devil cannot wait for sin
Like I can wait for you.
Too late, I wouldn’t want you to come
I found you in your absence
Leave your shadow in the groundless fear
Don’t come, what good would it do?

Evening
The sun pulled away a while ago
An evening of color rose
This night represents
All of my days
Hearing the evening,
The waters fell asleep
The red sank to the water
And I imagined an evening’s battle.
