I Indulged Myself (Adaptation)
There comes my fair maid, bright as the stars at night,
rosebud near a glade,
and a little white cloth.
The gypsies are dancing right
to the tango beat
yes, to the tango beat.
Over at the La Línea fair,
I bought me a horse, grey as the mist,
thus my little girl could ride it there.
The festival ended before.
And at the peak of dawn, the lark sung of bliss.
This old shirt of mine I tore
and I took it off, for
it was torn and ripped.
There comes my fair maid,
bright as the stars at night,
rosebud near a glade,
and a little white cloth.
The gypsies are dancing right
to the tango beat
yes, to the tango beat.
