The ways of lifeThey aren't like I thought
As I imagined them
They aren't what I believed
The ways of life
They are very hard to walk them
Hard to walk them
But they are light and now they guide me
I thought that life was different
When I was little
I believed that things were easy, I thought
And my little good mother* worked to keep things going
To provide me all I needed
And now I realize that God always contemplated me
That is why my life is different now
Now I walk for faith and not for sight
And I tell you buddy, my brother
The life with Christ is so much better
Things in the world are perishable
And I only want you to understand my brother
That only Christ gives you his love
