A fog creeping in upon the field.
Fear not, that your feet are bare
Dip them into the cool dew:
I am devoted to you, on the way to the cottage
I, myself will you carry there.
Fear not, that you might take chill, my little swan,
It is warm out - there is neither wind, nor clouds:
I will hold you close to my heart,
For as if with fever, it is afire.
