Spiral Dream

There’s something I wish to protect on this thorny path.
Now that we’ve crossed paths, I won’t lose my way anymore!

What lies behind our crying eyes?
All the callings that brought us to this day.

Each time we lose something important to us,
It becomes a calling, engraved in our hearts.

A flame is lit, distant, deep, and powerful.
A smoke signal of the revolution rises now!

There’s something I wish to protect on this thorny path.
Now that we’ve crossed paths, I won’t lose my way anymore!

You painted a Spiral Dream across the vast sky with your wings.
No one can stand in its way now!
If you’re feeling sad, strike a showy stance and pierce on through.
I know you’ll be just fine!
Above our heads is a turbulent cloud,
Ready to burst into tears at any second.

The two of us trembled, gently, faintly.
I’ll never forget that revolution’s eve!

There’s something I wish to protect on this thorny path.
Now that we’ve crossed paths, I won’t lose my way anymore!

Deciding to live our lives for the sake of others,
This is our first step.
Even if the steps are small, we’ve made progress today— It becomes a source of pride!

You painted a Spiral Dream across the vast sky with your wings.
No one can stand in its way now!
If you’re feeling sad, strike a showy stance and pierce on through.
Just a little longer until the morning star rises…

I know we’ll be just fine!

Elegy of The Sun

Please tell me the name of that bird
That spreads its wings as if cutting through the air. This caravan proceeds down an endless path,
Aimless travelers pretending to search for tomorrow.

Once the golden sandstorm passes,
I wish for the sea to quench all my thirst.

The saddest night the world’s ever known is coming. Even if I try wishing to the stars, as they smile, shining down on this desert… my wish will never come true.
So at the very least, I’ll continue to dance,
Wrapped in my veil.

Do you remember the name of that flower
That blooms so white amid the parched desert?
My uncried tears were thrown into the flames.
So I won’t bother to dream. It will only lead to pain.

From the time I was born, I’ve been all alone.
I’ve thrown away the thing commonly known as “love”.

The fiercest wind the world’s ever known will blow.
The song sung by the people in this desert town
Sounds almost like a scream.
I’m starting to remember
An elegy that mustn’t ever be recalled.

A mirage quivers at the edge of despair.
The sun just burns and burns: a Burning Carnival!

The saddest night the world’s ever known is coming. Even if I try wishing to the stars, as they smile, shining down on this desert… my wish will never come true.
So at the very least, I’ll continue to dance, Wrapped in my veil.

Where is that bird now?
Where is that flower now?
Where is that person now?
