Goodbye to 18
We went to the beach1 together.We built a computer together.
We’ve reached a crossroads after having a glorious time together.
Thank you for being with me all year and staying out with me all night.
Let me say goodbye to 18 and write down this entire year in my diary.
Even if my future is ordinary, this part of my life is beautiful.
The world remains to be painted, the signs of love still unclear.
Perhaps you and I will grow taller next year.

You were with me when I fought against my parents.
You were with me when I practised dancing in secret.
Today I find that I need a jersey3 half a size larger.
