A dewdrop falls asleep, in the embrace of the nightKnow not why weeps for a second!
Yet dozes off in its loneliness!
Is it the kiss of crimson dawn,
that blossomed the spring in her?
That turned her to this rose bloom?
A dewdrop falls asleep, in the embrace of the night
Who playfully closed the door,
as the bird tweeted at her window?
Who sweetened the tunes
of breeze that fondled her hair?
By whom, were those dreams written in her eyes?
Who wrote those memories?
Who dazzled her?
A dew drop falls asleep, in the embrace of the night
Know not why, weeps for a second!
Yet dozes off in its loneliness!
Who came as the drizzle on this eve,
as the tears dried out her eyes?
Who came as the cuckoo on this branch,
as the leaf murmurs faded away?
Who wrote these poems,
on her cheeks with a finger touch?
Who budded her desires?
Who turned her to a lover?
