The visit

Sudden sorrow as the bullet pierced through
The night, backlit by the garland of dusty stars.
And it’s clear: in this world, I’m an accidental guest -
My appearance - no more than a curious circumstance.

One winter, through the birth canal's portal,
By the will of nature, I came here from the beyond.
And if I could have imagined just where I'd land,
I’d have stayed there, on the dark side.

And the unison silence
Sounded the heart-wrenching roar.
The all-consuming despair
That filled the night to the brim.
I’d understand, when in the last summer
I’d see my death closeup,
Just how absurd turned out to be
My short visit to this earth.

Each one of us is alone with his pain.
The joy is for everyone, sorrow - just your own,
Just like scenes in a tragicomedy film
With obscenely bad actors in leading roles.

I still don’t get it - why I'm here.
The birth - the gift, but did I have such a need of it?
The burn of sickly thoughts diminishes,
Gloomy morning bursts in thru the window opening.

And the unison silence
Sounded the heart-wrenching roar.
The all-consuming despair
That filled the night to the brim.
I’d understand, when in the last summer
I’d see my death closeup,
Just how absurd turned out to be
My short visit to this earth.

Felvehetlek?
Csak így köthetünk békét
Hozzám fogsz érni, ragaszködni fogsz hozzám?
Felvehetlek?

Felvehetlek?
Csak így köthetünk békét
Hozzám fogsz érni, ragaszködni fogsz hozzám?
Felvehetlek?
Hogy másképp köthetünk békét?
Köthetünk békét

Megérinthetlek, foghatlak?
Felvehetlek?
Csak így köthetünk békét
Hozzám fogsz érni, ragaszködni fogsz hozzám?
Felvehetlek?
Hogy másképp köthetünk békét?
Köthetünk békét

Not me anymore

[Stanza 1]
Summer crumbles away just like dry leaves,
just like poems of poets long time ago deceased.
Branches hunch, a lightning shines within the stormclouds.
The dull rain falls from the sky onto the ground.
Autumn's wind and a nostril bitter hit.
Would run away, sure, it just looks I'm here stuck.
Maybe, I simply waited too much for too long.
Turning adult - dreams get displaced by needs.

[Chorus]
And marginal soul
builds up resent.
No forgiveness to me
it's all my guilt.
Because of youth and adolescense
got always kept
away underground.
At an unhappy secluded corner
I'll hear the echo of what never happened.
And at the bottom
of a cold room
I will age off.
It's not me anymore.

[Stanza 2]
Was even a chance to get out of this hole?
Of boredom and alcohol seems I'm dying here.
Innocent belief in something better, it went nowhere.
I have this dirty-gray melancholy thrown up on a verse.
The impotence is evil, it sets a countdown.
I yell and feel like dying knowing nothing is able to help.
The fear crosses my heart as an iceberg, the face of a black reaper.
I carry in my chest something shackle-like.

Fyodor

Fyodor was kind of a pleasant guy,
He was nice and courteous.
Fedor was a model and an ideal
Almost to everyone.

In a position of a warehouse manager
He worked for eight years.
He lived measuredly, as it should be,
He got his own office.

He was going to church on Sundays,
He kept his body in a good shape.
He was cultivating plants at home
He was giving change to homeless people.

For the family, he was a stronghold
And he was an example
Of a moralist and patriot,
Like a Soviet pioneer.

Chorus:
But who could have thought...
When the tired city fades
Fedor goes hunting
Like a devil out of a snuff box.

Sick passion SHINES in his eyes
With a mad look from under the brows.
From everyday life balm
And an entertaining hobby.

2.
But under the gray layer of everyday life
Fedor nourished a passion.
And for his hidden needs
He equipped a basement.

Different types of tools,
Pliers and vise.
Containers of formaldehyde,
Chopped pieces of bodies.

He sewn out of human skin
A lampshade on a floor lamp
Of passers-by in a dark park
He was choosing his victims.

In his little underworld
He was cutting people's flesh
Fyodor is a devil's saint,
He heard demons voices.

Chorus.

3.
But one hazy night,
In a fatal sudden moment
Heart attack
Caught Fyodor unexpectedly.

A priest was waving a censer over him,
Seeing him off to the other world.
Fedor carried away to his grave
His monstrous secret.

In a reserved canteen
Everyone, from brothers to colleagues,
Remembered him with a kind words.
What a man he was, after all.

Reputed to be such a nice guy
He was nice and courteous.
In a distance, in the basement
A prisoner is breaking out and screams.

Chorus.

The song about the dangers of smoking

Columbus discovered America-
A mighty great sailor he was,
But at the same time he taught
The whole world to smoke tobacco of course.
From the peace pipe by the fire,
Smoked with a chief in wigwam
The bad habit spread
On a world scale and some.

Ministry of health is warning us,
Smoking it's a poison they are saying
Ministry of health is warning us,
Ministry of health is warning us,
And Columbus, and Columbus, and Columbus,
And Columbus, and Columbus-
He is not to blame.

Christopher, alias Columbus,
Not knowing what he was doing then,
Much has flown under the bridge since,
Into a blue smoke of our strength.
For us it's sweeter then aroma of roses
The bad tobacco taste and tar,
And in that smoke- heart attack, sclerosis,
Lung cancer and catarrh.

Ministry of health is warning us,
Smoking is a poison they are saying
Ministry of health is warning us,
Ministry of health is warning us,
And Columbus, and Columbus, and Columbus,
And Columbus, and Columbus-
He is not to blame.

I personally quit, I do not smoke,
I'm cheerful and full of strength,
To my dear ministry of Health I owe,
Because it warned me then.
You, smoker, please forgive me,
For my sad pun- but wait,
From this day on to smoking
We'll announce a smoke brake.

Smoking it's a poison...
The ministry of Health is saying,
And Columbus, and Columbus, and Columbus,
And Columbus, and Columbus-
He is not to blame.
