- 1. On various websites, the title in some cases includes the word „ostatnie” ('last'), sometimes not. I’m not sure which version is the official one.
- 2. French for 'a date' (a romantic meeting).
- 3. Here meaning a verdict, a judgment or a decision, but also being a kind of a word play (absent in the Polish original) on the 'few short words' she says in the next stanza.
