The Girl Who Can't See Color
Within a dry, tasteless gray world
I see only in name the flowers by this wearisome path
You showed me a vaguely defined scenery
That I embraced despite its haziness
'What color is the setting sun?' I would ask, as time continued on
In this unchanging monochrome world
How do you see me through those black eyes?
My reflection blurs within these overflowing tears
And the waterside landscape is painted with intermingling noise
In the light of an indistinct gray world
A single pale white flower graces the windowsill
I'm okay with being forgotten
So you said while smiling, yet as you looked elsewhere you seemed lonely
Gazing at the night sky, we searched for constellations
This unchanging monochrome world is
Gaining color little by little, being
Transformed like in a fairy tale
Will I too be able to glimpse it someday?
When that time arrives, let's return to
See this scenery once more, just the two of us
The lies you kept hidden right until the end
converged with the shape of our promise that was lost in an instant
But with greater and greater vibrance
This world finally became colored
So I'll keep on waiting by that blue beach

The bird in the basket
As I go against an obvious answer
I embrace a wound that I should've avoided
Even if I ask to this clinging answer that I was holding onto
Every time those words are...
Always repeating
This old same place this old same heart
It doesn't matter how many times the summer comes
I'm always in the same season
Ah how can I
hide you from this me
Hey how can I... Hey how should I...
Can you sing about yesterday with a smile?
A customary rains starts to fall
I fake these words that I can't hide
These bled damp days
Taints these dried dreams
Again I turn around
This old same place this old same heart
It doesn't matter how many times the summer comes
I, alone, am always lost for words
Ah how can I
hide you from this me
Hey how can I... Hey how should I...
Can you sing about yesterday with a smile?
Spring comes, the cherry blossoms blooms
As I lose sight of 'someday'
'Is this enough?'
I ask you many times over
Again and again, a thousand times again
Even though I painted all these days
It won't turn into tomorrow
Ah how can I
hide my heart from this me
Hey how can I...
Hey how should I...
Welcome again this yesterday with a smile
Ah how can I
hide you from this me
Hey how can I... Hey how should I...
Can you sing about yesterday with a smile?
Could you turn this me down?
