Szondy's two pageboys - 1st part

The ruins of Drégely Castle1have sunk into the clouds2
The Sun is shining down on it, it was a day of fierce fighting
A gentle, lovely green moutain peak is facing the ruins
With a bannered war-spear at the top3

Two youngsters are kneeling, with lutes in hand4
At the base of the spear, as if it was a crucifix5
Down in the valley with his vociferous army
Ali6is celebrating the victory

'Why won't Szondy's two minstrels come here, why?7
The two heavenly rose-bushes who sing like bulbuls8
They ought to make a pearl necklace from songs
Fit for the neck of a houri!9'

'There's that verdant cliff, a green mound is up there10
With a bannered spear on the giaour11pasha's12grave
That pair of pearls are kneeling there with lute in hand
And they're just plucking them and plucking them crying'

And Márton, the priest from Oroszi came13
The exasperated Ali has sent him with a haughty message:
Surrender and be at my mercy, good Szondy!
No one will stay alive who was born from a mother!14

'Sherbet, figs, dates15, lots of tropical fruits16
Everything that the empire of the great Sultan has to offer
Fragrant spices and expensive balms
Today is the victory-celebration of Ali!'

Tell him, Márton, this is my answer:17
Szondy would never expect to get mercy from your lord
Mercy has already been prepared in the hands of Jesus
That's exactly where he'll look for it

Ale Ale Arale-chan

Alelele Aleale Arale-chan
Woh woh woh
Alelele Aleale Arale-chan
Hi-cha, hi-cha, I'm Arale Norimaki,
A girl with a pair of round glasses.
The truth is (Don't tell me this) that I'm a robot!
One speedy leap to the moon,
Hoyoyo, I came to 'serprise' the aliens.
Good morn-evening from Penguin Village,
Look to your right then to your left, Bye-cha Bye-cha.
Good morn-evening from Penguin Village,
Look to your right then to your left, Bye-cha Bye-cha.

Alelele Aleale Arale-chan
Woh woh woh
Alelele Aleale Arale-chan
Hi-cha, hi-cha, I'm Arale Norimaki,
Dr. Slump's little sister.
The truth is (Don't tell me this) that I'm a robot!
Long time ago in the Time-Slipper,
There are swarms of these 'cul' monsters.
Good morn-evening from Penguin Village,
Comes the day then the night, Bye-cha Bye-cha.
Good morn-evening from Penguin Village,
Comes the day then the night, Bye-cha Bye-cha.

Borrowing the Grow-Shrink Gun for a while,
Uhohoi, a newt-ewt-ewt, a huge sparrow-row-row
Good morn-evening from Penguin Village,
Even the crying and laughing insects, Bye-cha Bye-cha.
Good morn-evening from Penguin Village,
Even the crying and laughing insects, Bye-cha Bye-cha.

My Heart Skips A Beat For You

I don't know, I don't know, just wait for me
Just a little longer, just a little longer, because I love you
I don't know, I don't know, just wait for me
Just a little longer, just a little longer, because I love you

Who would have known that your heart hurt this much?
It stings like a splash of green lemon juice
I take off running, I want you to chase me
Look at me and nobody else, hold me real tight
Like in a dream, never felt like this before, you're like the wind that
Like in a dream, makes my heart tremble like this

Just a little longer, just a little longer, wait for me
I don't know, I don't know, but I love you
Just a little longer, just a little longer, wait for me
I don't know, I don't know, but I love you

I want you to just take me away to the ocean
So far away that I won't remember my way home
Like in a dream, you're the wind that beckons me
Into a dream, a rainbow-colored dream just for you and me

I don't know, I don't know, just wait for me
Just a little longer, just a little longer, because I love you
I don't know, I don't know, just wait for me
Just a little longer, just a little longer, because I love you

Wai Wai March

Go, go, get going,
everybody get going.
Right at the rainbow over there.
To the throbbing excitedly wonderful land,
Holding each other's hands.
Wh-where, where, where, until we found it.
The cloudy ship is going to the blue sky,
The sail gives the wind to blow,
Everybody rides in lots of dreams,
I wonder what land, such as this land or that,
The land of rainbows.

Go, go, get going,
everybody get going.
Right at the universe over there.
To the splendor unacquainted star,
Combining the powers.
Wh-where, where, where, until we found it.
The spaceship is going to the starry sea,
The engine starts at full throttle,
Where everybody chanting a lot of times,
I wonder what star, such as this star or that,
The star of dreams.

Go, go, get going,
everybody get going.
Inhabiting in a happiness.
Really pleasant land of happiness,
Putting up a smile.
Wh-where, where, where, until we found it.
Exceeding that mountain, cruising the valley,
Progress the courage that has came out,
Everybody get going for the cheerfulness,
I wonder what happiness, such as this one or that,
For your enjoyment.

The first star

Full of sunshine, see you tomorrow
On the way home, all alone
I look up at the night sky and see only one star
From the day I met you
The sky is full of happiness
Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, the stars
Forever and ever, Oh, my stars
Please shine in my heart
I've found the first star

Good night, the sound of insects
The moonlight spilling onto the windowsill
A single star in my closed eyelids
In the smile of your eyes
In my dream, full of happiness
I've been thinking about you
Forever and ever, oh star
Please shine in my heart
Lulu......
Lulu......
Tomorrow, may the weather be fine!
