I get on with life as a Twin,
I'm a scandi kinda person.
I like Elektrisk and Plystre på deg.
I like to contemplate Norway.
But when I start to daydream,
My mind turns straight to Scandinavia Twins.

Do I love my twin more than Norway?
Do I love me than Norway?

I like to use words like 'to dråper vann' and 'Blikkstille.'
I like to use words about Norway.
But when I stop my talking,
My mind turns straight to Scandinavia.

Do I love My twin more than Norway?
Do I love myself more than Norway?

I like to hang out with Rhiån and mårkphlin.
But when left alone,
My mind turns straight to Scandinavia.

Do I love my twin more than Norway?
Do I love Me more than Norway?

I Dislike other countries
But I just think back to Scandinavia twins,
And I'm happy once again.

Wherever you want, whenever you want

At a time when dogs bother us with barking
Lost in the search for our place
In an aging world
At a time when everything is falling apart
We're tied together and it's better

Wherever you want, whenever you want
No matter how you want it, I already know what you want
Wherever you want, I'm tied to you
Whatever you want, I'm committed to it

Wherever you want, whenever you want
No matter how you want it, I already know what you want
Wherever you want, I'm tied to you
Whatever you want, I'm committed to it

At a time when everything is revealed
Ready to shoot my star
A small flame burns inside me
When I'm losing myself
You hug me and it's better

Wherever you want, whenever you want
No matter how you want it, I already know what you want
Wherever you want, I'm tied to you
Whatever you want, I'm committed to it

I'm committed to it
When the nights are so dark
That the morning blinds us
It cannot be better
You know the world is wide
And that there is room for two in it

Wherever you want, whenever you want
No matter how you want it, I already know what you want
Wherever you want, I'm tied to you
Whatever you want, I'm committed to it

Wherever you want, whenever you want
No matter how you want it, I already know what you want
Wherever you want, I'm tied to you
Whatever you want, I'm committed to it

(Whenever you want, I'm committed)
(Wherever you want)
(Wherever you want, let me go)
(Whenever you want)

Wherever you want, whenever you want
No matter how you want it, I already know what you want
Wherever you want, I'm tied to you
Whatever you want, I'm committed to it

Spring

To harm happy people's hearts,
my love, the hero of the spring draws near.
He strings bees to his bowstring
And offers mango blossoms instead of shooting arrows.

The maiden is in love and Zephyr's scents are in the air,
the trees are in blossom and lotus flowers adorn the lakes,
the nights are calm and the days refreshing:
How beautiful is the world in spring!

When ponds are bejewelled
and the maidens appear like the shimmering moon,
when mango trees sway among the flowers in the fields,
then we are in the bliss of spring.

Spring IV

Now is the time that makes colourful flowers spring up
round the green sides of the ponds

Rain in spring

Keep on drizzling, rain in spring
weep through the quiet night!
Slumber rests on every lane,
just your faithful poet is awake ...
Listening to the soft, warm drizzling
from the dark celestial dome,
and from deep inside
a hot stream breaks forth,
it can't be held back and controlled
it pours gently but firmly ...
On secret ways Spring ominously
walks through the night.

Hob XXI, 3 The seasons, Part One: The spring.

1. INTRODUCTION
Largo - Vivace
(The introduction depicts the passage of Winter to Spring)
RECITATIVE
Simon:
See how stern Winter flies,
he goes to the distant pole.
The blasting host of furious tempests
follows it, at its call,
howling awfully.
Lukas:
See how the melted snow runs down
in muddy streams in front of the steep rock!
Jane:
See how she comes from the south,
sweetly attracted by the lukewarm winds,
the herald of the spring.
2. CHORUS OF COUNTRY-PEOPLE.
Country-folk
Come, gentle spring!
Gift of heaven, come!
Awaken nature
From her death sleep!
Lasses and women
Gentle Spring is near,
already we feel the soft breath,
Son shall everything return to life.
Men:
Do not rejoice too soon,
often the winter, surrounded by fog,
creeps back and scatters
its black poison on bloom and germ.
All:
Come, gentle spring!
Gift of heaven, come!
Upon our meadows descend,
oh cone, gentle spring, oh come,
and delay no longer.
3. RECITATIVE
Simon:
From Aries now the bright sun
shines down upon us.
Now frost and fog give ground,
mild vapours hover all round

This my little spring song, swinging

This my little spring song, swinging,
takes my heart along, a-singing,
to the wide and lovely world out there,
where the leas and meads are flow'ring,
where the fleecy clouds are tow'ring
that old house has long been there.
Still, without worries,
far from all hurries ,
there lies the world in sunshine bright.
Under age-old trees, greening,
let us be dreaming
into spring days full of golden light.

All the bees are humming, singing
to my little spring song, swinging,
butterflies are flutt'ring here and there.
Nature brings her vernal blessing:
cherry blossoms sky caressing,
scent of roses sweetly fills the air.

Yet how sudden all of this splendour's vanished,
that one lovely day has us brought in May.
For a frosty rime came and all the flow'rs were banished
in a single night they have gone away.
Hushed are all the birds who would sing their spring romances.
Butterflies no longer pleasure in their dances.
E'en the age-old trees do freeze and hope that spring advances,
and the little flowers feel so sad and so blue.

Hush - and hear a gentle ringing
of my little spring song swinging
till we feel the spring sun's golden light.
And once more the meads are flow'ring,
e'en the fleecy clouds are tow'ring,
long forgotten is the frosty night.

Relish your young days, find out your own ways,
while for you shines the sun in May.
Life in beauty and clover
might soon be over,
for our springtime passes yet so fast away!
