Today I’m going to change
really look over my bags
and take out my feelings
and all my resentments
clean the wardrobe
erase hard feelings of the past
and anxieties that were in my mind
in order to not suffer over things so tiny
to stop being a girl in order to be a woman

take out my courage into the light
surrender myself to what I want
and always be myself without fear
dance and sing habitually
and see clearly instead of darkly
uproot my secrets
stop living
unless it’s to live the life
that shouts inside of me

and not be just a heart
leave and stop failures
opt for the arms
and freedom that crush
my reason
fly free with all my flaws
in order to be able to rescue my rights
and not to bring it to life
paths and decisions
today I want to and I should change
divide it to time
add it to the wind
all the things that one day
I dreamed of conquering
because I’m a woman
like any other
with doubts and solutions
with flaws and virtues
with love and indifference
soft like a seagull
but fiery like a lion
calm and peace-making
but at the same time
irreverent and revolutionary
happy and unhappy
idealistic and dreaming
submissive through conditioning
but independent through opinion
because I’m a woman with all
the inconsistencies
that are born of my strength
weak sex
